The Gazette, May 23, 2009: Look who's coming to dinner

"I must say that Concordia University is fortunate to have students such as the group with whom I had supper last evening at a downtown café. The evening and the discussion was so interesting that we actually 'closed' the restaurant!"
- Josie Caruso, Part-time instructor, Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics, Concordia University

What is Dinner for Eight?

Launched in February 2009, Dinner for Eight creates a forum in which Concordia graduates share their professional experiences and outlook with students over a meal in a casual and relaxed setting, either a restaurant or the host's home.

Dinner for Eight complements the Concordia Mentor Program, whose primary goal is to match students with experienced alumni for career guidance and advice.

Concordia’s Dinner for Eight Program earned a silver medal in the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education’s 2010 Prix d’Excellence in the Best Alumni Program category. More
