The Concordia Mentor Program is a joint initiative of the Concordia University Alumni Association (CUAA) and Advancement and Alumni Relations.
Please Note
The Concordia Mentor Program database comprises alumni who have graciously
volunteered to be contacted for informational interviews and career networking.
As a voluntary program, we cannot guarantee that all occupations are represented.
The Concordia Mentor Program provides graduates and students with the opportunity to contact alumni who have volunteered to provide career coaching. This may include providing information about a specific occupation, field of employment or industry, or offering tips on entering the job market or relocating to a specific city. Mentors share their own experience and knowledge and may offer connections in the working world.
Events, such as the Speed-Networking Cocktail and the Dinner for 8 program, are held to complement the Mentor Program and to present further opportunities for mentors and mentees to network.
Alumni provide information about their current job, workplace and general career information, which is posted on the web in a searchable database.
Students and alumni search the database to find a suitable mentor. Should they wish to contact a mentor, they must first register. Once approved, they can contact a mentor, via a form on the website, which protects the mentor's privacy.
Both mentors and mentees must agree to abide by the Concordia Mentor Code of Conduct.
While the Concordia Mentor Program database may be searched and viewed by anyone, a mentor match is available exclusively to currently enrolled Concordia University students and alumni of Concordia University, Loyola College and Sir George Williams University.
We will verify your status before any contact is allowed. Use of the Mentor Network is free of charge.
