Board of Directors 2009-2010

Established in 1896, Loyola College, one of Concordia’s founding institutions, grew out of the English-language program of the Jesuit Collège Sainte-Marie in Montreal. The college offered preparatory studies for young men, opening its doors to women students only in 1959. The curriculum at Loyola College grew from being classically based to liberal arts-oriented, but theology and philosophy remained part of every student’s degree until 1971-72. In 1974, Loyola College merged with Sir George Williams University to form Concordia University.

The Loyola Alumni Association is only as strong as the spirit of our graduates — help us keep the spirit alive and build an even better future in tribute to Loyola’s past.
